The day of the contract signing between Cardinal Santos Medical Center (CSMC) and ChinoyTV for the opening of CSMC’s Hospital on Wheels Binondo Branch was filled with congratulatory remarks as various representatives from the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers Of Commerce & Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII), the Chinese-Filipino Business Club, and the Lucky Chinatown Mall, were among the many to witness and extend their remarks during the auspicious launching ceremony.
The Hospital on Wheels is a 32-foot mobile clinic, fully equipped for an array of hospital services, such as doctors’ consultations, laboratory examinations, and specialized tests like ECG, ultrasound, and x-ray. The initiative was borne of CSMC’s thrust to improve the delivery of safe and reliable service and to provide continuity of care to patients. With this innovative approach to primary healthcare, CSMC has made strides in promoting curative and preventive healthcare to the doorsteps of its patients. Through the Hospital on Wheels, patients can avail diagnostic procedures at home by having an outfitted mobile clinic come to them as a flexible and safe alternative to in-person hospital screenings.
