Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) President Dr. Cecilio K. Pedro was recently honored with a special Plaque of Appreciation by the National Press Club (NPC) for supporting the organization’s civic projects and also for steadfastly advocating Philippine press freedom.
This was given during NPC’s 71st Anniversary celebration at their headquarters building in Intramuros, Manila.
Also gracing the occasion were various leaders such as Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Atty. George Garcia, Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Cheloy Garafil and others.
Accompanying Dr. Cecilio Pedro were FFCCCII Board Member and Public Information & Media Committee Chairman Wilson Lee Flores and Co-Chairman Eduardo “Eddie” Cobankiat.
The NPC is led by its first ever female President Lydia Bueno and officers like Board Director Benedict Abaygar.
