Last Nov. 27, 2023, government & private sector leaders at the Pandesal Forum advocated for urban and peri-urban agriculture in the Philippines to help address food security and sustainability challenges.
They urged all sectors to go into outdoor & indoor farms, vertical farming (multi-level structures for farms), peri-urban agriculture (planting vegetables in areas peripheral or near urban centers).
The PandesalForum was hosted by Kamuning Bakery Cafe in Quezon City.
