This is the largest Confucius Temple in #Fujian province and located in the ancient city of Quanzhou. It was built in year 976 AD during the Tang Dynasty and covers an area of 100 acres.
#Confucius was a great moral teacher in Chinese civilization, and there are Confucian temples as ancient intellectual centers in many cities all over east Asia from China, South Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other places. The Philippine media delegation goodwill visit to Fujian province is a civic project of the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) to promote more cultural understanding and trade between peoples of the #Philippines and China.
